Unexpected cirmcumstances & new beginnings
Sonrise Christian Center Skagit
Important Update, Move‑Out Help, & Next Steps
We want to share an important update and invite you to join us in prayer as we walk through this season of transition together. Our landlords recently added a new insurance requirement that insurance providers are unable to meet. Because we cannot fulfill that requirement, we were given short notice to vacate our current building. Our final day in the facility will be June 30th.
Though this change came unexpectedly, we know that God is not surprised. He has always been faithful to Sonrise, and we trust that He is already preparing the right place for our church family. His provision will come in His perfect timing.
---
Move‑Out Volunteer Schedule
We need all hands and willing hearts as we prepare to vacate the building. Whether you can give an hour or a full day, your help is deeply appreciated.
Saturday, June 27 — 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Sunday, June 28 — After Family Feast
Monday, June 29 — 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Tuesday, June 30 — 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
---
Beginning Limited Liquidation
As part of the move‑out process, we are beginning to liquidate certain items from the building.
This is a normal and practical step during a transition.
There is no need for concern—Sonrise Skagit is not closing.
We are simply stewarding resources wisely as we prepare for the next place God has for us.
More details will be shared soon.
---
Standing Firm in Faith
Due to the extremely short notice, we do not yet have a landing place. Even so, we are standing firm in faith, knowing that God will provide and lead us to the home He has prepared for Sonrise Skagit.
Please continue to lift our church in prayer—that the Lord would guide our steps, open doors, and lead us forward. We stand together in faith, trusting that His plans for us are good.
With love and trust in His promises,
Sonrise Christian Center Skagit Leadership Team

We Worship The King Of Kings
And We Celebrate Jesus
We are a church that points people to Jesus. He shows us what God looks like and allows us to see His heart. He restores us, forgives us, sets us free, and gives us new life. We are an extension of His thoughts, His ways, His love, His Kingdom. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. ~ Jesus

Redeem your story
Here at Sonrise Skagit, we know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what your life's story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That's why we proclaim that we can not stop speaking about what we have seen and heard!
Acts 4:20
Acts 4:20
Religion never truly changed anyone, but a relationship with God changes everything.
- Pastor Mike Stansberry
Don’t go where it is all fine music and grand talk and beautiful architecture. Those things will neither fill anybody’s stomach, nor feed his soul. Go where the Gospel is preached, the Gospel that really feeds your soul, and go often.
- Charles Spurgeon
Great church we need each other and the pastor is in tune with God he’s led by the Holy Spirit

My husband and I were feeling called by God to seek out a new church. We were hungry for more and we're feeling underutilized in our giftings. We walked into our first Sunday at Sonrise and knew we were in for something intimate and special with the Lord.

God is in this place !!! Come and see for yourself. Loved it.
